LIBANON - De skulle ha giftet seg, men så kom bombene. Amer har jobbet for ADRA Libanon i tre år med ansvar for vann- og sanitærprosjekt i Bekaa-dalen. Nå gledet han seg endelig til bryllupet og feiringen den 29. september. Men sånn ble det ikke. Amer og forloveden tok den tunge bestemmelsen om at bryllupet må vente. Side om side har Amer, forloveden og ADRA-teamet, jobbet utrettelig i flere dager nå for å hjelpe familier; barn og voksne som har flyktet fra bombene. Mennesker som viser omsorg, mot og trofasthet slik som Amer, gir oss andre håp. Takket være folk som Amer og forloveden hans, kan vi ane lysning i horisonten.
